We are pleased to welcome you to Princeton Model Congress 2017, held at the Omni Shoreham.
It is truly an honor to serve as Executive Directors of the oldest college-run government simulation program in the country. This year marks PMC's 36th birthday, and in the last three decades over 10,000 high school students have come to our nation's capital to experience the inner workings of our government and our Constitution.
We are projecting a total attendance of about 1,000 delegates for our 2017 conference, and we will enforce a delegation size limit of 50 students per school. We are very excited about our new programming initiatives and continue to esteem our Special Programs - Supreme Court, Cabinet, and Press Corps - and encourage interested delegates to apply early for these selective positions.
We believe that the winning combination of the expertise of our Princeton undergraduates, the energy and enthusiasm of our high school students and teachers, and the excitement of our location in the heart of Washington, D.C. provide an extraordinary opportunity to partake in what Princeton graduate James Madison called the American "experiment in democracy."
We are proud to be the heirs of Madison's legacy, and we invite you to join us this fall in our special mission: to provide an unparalleled educational experience in the workings of our system of government and to train the next generation of American leaders.
